Source verification
Capabilities, availability, pricing, and commercial-use claims are tied to official sources and a checked date. Vendor marketing is treated as a claim, not an experience result.
EDITORIAL POLICY / V1
A structured record can be consistent and still be wrong. Our workflow separates format validation, factual review, hands-on experience, owner approval, and commercial disclosure.
Capabilities, availability, pricing, and commercial-use claims are tied to official sources and a checked date. Vendor marketing is treated as a claim, not an experience result.
A tool is eligible for an ordered ranking only after a repeatable test records the task, inputs, environment, outputs, failures, time, cost, and rework. Prior informal use is disclosed but does not substitute for this test.
No universal score is assigned before comparison criteria exist. Criteria must be repeatable and explained beside the result; fit for a task matters more than a single overall winner.
Affiliate links, vendor-supplied access, and sponsored placements are labeled separately. Sponsorship cannot buy a better score, hide a limitation, or appear as an editorial recommendation.
Published facts carry a verification date. User and vendor corrections enter the same review queue and never modify the public record directly.
