Meta unveils Horizon Create and Studio for mobile-to-browser game making
Meta introduced mobile Horizon Create and browser-based Horizon Studio on September 24 for making and editing 2D or 3D games with prompts. Both remain in creator-community testing, with wider early access by waitlist.

For creators assessing a mobile-to-browser game workflow and native publishing on Meta's platforms.
Meta introduced Horizon Create and Horizon Studio in its September 24 developer announcement. The mobile app and browser editor let creators describe a 2D or 3D mobile game in words, play a build and continue editing the same project across both surfaces, according to Meta. Both tools are still being tested with its creator community; wider access requires joining the early access waitlist.
Horizon Create starts and tests a game on a phone
Horizon Create is a standalone mobile app. Creators can enter an idea or start from a template, receive a notification when a build is ready, play it and describe changes to its art style, characters, story or progression. Meta says multiple projects can run at once.
Horizon Studio adds visual editing in the browser
Horizon Studio keeps natural-language prompts and adds direct scene arrangement, individual asset swaps and script-parameter controls. Meta says the two tools share projects, assets and iteration history, allowing a creator to continue a mobile draft in the browser without rebuilding it.
Distribution eligibility comes with an early-access limit
Meta says games published from either tool become eligible for native distribution across Facebook, Instagram and Horizon. Published games also go through content review and receive an age rating. Eligibility does not guarantee reach, and Meta says further monetization details are still to come.
The announcement describes Horizon's own creation-to-publication path; it does not explain how an existing Unity or Unreal project would move into or out of these tools.
