Who should pay attention

For creators taking a Studio RPG from an editable world to a game with returning players.

RPGJS Studio 1.14, announced on October 27, moves its hosted MMORPG workflow from experimental to beta. It adds player accounts, AI chat moderation, saved progress, PvP settings and an operations dashboard. The announcement places accounts, chat and the dashboard under a Pro license.

For creators already making editable RPG maps in Studio, the update adds controls for opening a world to players who return over several sessions.

Set how players join and keep their progress

Enable player accounts to use a sign-in screen. Creators can allow open registration, require email confirmation or approve accounts themselves; invitation links are another way to bring people in. Players choose nicknames and retain their progress when returning and moving between maps.

The Studio's Players list provides account and presence information. Creators can inspect or adjust a player's progress, ban an account or disconnect a player.

AI screens chat, with a fallback when it does not answer

The release describes moderation before messages reach other players, enabled by default with strength settings from 1 to 5. Repeated refused messages can trigger a temporary mute, and creators can inspect a 24-hour record of blocked messages.

The published settings screenshot adds a condition: if the AI does not answer, the message is shown. The interface says message text is sent to the AI for review. When testing chat, use the available controls and log to inspect how messages are handled.

Chat settings show automatic moderation, a strength slider at 3/5 and a note that messages appear if the AI does not answer.

Choose PvP maps and monitor the world

PvP is enabled per map in its Combat settings. Defeated players return to that map's starting point with full health and a short protection period.

The dashboard brings together current presence, activity over the last 24 hours, account management, chat and publication history. It also provides publish and play actions.

The 1.14 announcement does not quote a price for the required Pro license. Confirm the applicable entitlement in Studio before opening an MMORPG. The feature remains in beta; cross-server scaling and more multiplayer event blocks are listed as future work.
