RPGJS Studio 1.12 adds polygon collisions and playable templates
The October 13 release adds editable collision shapes, starter maps with events and a 3.1 AI map refinement, supporting the work after a map is generated.

For 2D RPG creators turning a generated map into an editable level.
RPGJS Studio 1.12, announced on October 13, adds polygon collisions and starter maps with events. For developers building a 2D RPG from an AI-generated map, the update supports the editing work that follows generation.
Shape blockers and start with events
Elements can use no collision, a rectangle or an editable polygon. The map's Hitboxes view shows their outlines together, helping creators inspect where objects block movement.
Desert, Snowy Hamlet and Bakery templates include events and can be selected at project creation or imported later. They offer starting points for chest, combat or shop interactions. The release also adds weather presets and refines the AI map generator to 3.1; RPGJS describes its output as cleaner and more consistent.
Editing access and AI credits
As of October 19, the product page lists visual map editing, events and browser playtesting in the free tier. A $99 lifetime Studio license includes 500 AI credits, 10 GB of storage, an API key and RPGJS source export. Optional subscriptions replenish credits. The page gives no per-map credit figure for generator 3.1.
The editable generation workflow continues from map generator v3. A useful next step is to mark spawn, exit and interaction points, adjust nearby blockers, then walk the routes. Collision outlines support that inspection. Browse world and level building for related production tasks.
